January 2nd 1914

Mrs Wood went by 11.37 train to London Rd (from Eccles). Bernard came up and we played with the trains. We had to tidy up the room as we are going to camp to-morrow. B.C. Hucks looped the loop four times yesterday at Belle Vue. We are going to Broom Hall this afternoon for the boxing gloves (for camp). Only a few scouts going, chiefly little kids. Bernard stayed to Dinner and I went to Braehead for tea. Arnold and Auntie Maggie, who have been ill, are both improving. Prepared for camp. Ice has practically all gone.
