Mr. Mayo was alright to-day, perhaps just a bit narky. He has given us a fair amount of homework. It was funny, in chemistry, when Mr. Jones made two terrific explosions by mixing 2 volumes of Hydrogen with 1 of oxygen. The first was in a strong glass bottle and the second some bubbles made of this mixture. I caught the 3.35 train home and did some homework. I also had my hair cut. Grandpa is not very well, he has pains, probably “wind”. Mother and Daddy have gone to Dawsons; and Grandpa and Grannie should have gone with them but Grannie has a cold.
