February 23rd 1914

I got up as usual. In chemistry we did iodine and did some interesting experiments with it. I came home by the 4.10 train. Parkes came in the evening with some of the magazine papers written out in the hectographic ink. He helped me with my Latin exercise although I scored 75 off. He stayed a little then I went to see him off and was stargazing in the garden for a few minutes. We had a good amount of homework.
