March 11th 1914

I got up early as usual. Yesterday Mayo put me on for Xenophon only I got through it alright. He gave Garside a Saturday morning for not knowing it, but as Garside told him he had spent a long time over it, he was let off. In the evening we wrote out some of the magazine on the wax sheets of the cyclostyle but we made a whole mess of it. So we decided to try another plan, + next evening Father brought home a Petit Plex from the office. It is much better than the gelatine composition of last week. Grandpa lost the power of his right hand + Grannie rubbed it + the use came back.
