March 3rd 1914

I got up as usual. We had a lecture on “Shakespeare + the Globe Theatre”, which was very good (100 lantern-slides). Then after getting my books I was a bit late for the Carpenter’s class, but as I explained about getting my books, it was all right. Then I caught the 4.45 train home + asked the man at the bookstall at Eccles to get me the three back numbers of the “Rainbow” (the first really), as there was a competition on it.
