April 2nd 1914

I got up at 6:30 to do some homework as on Wednesday I did not have time for any. In the Drawing Hall there was a row with “Slimy”, the chaps were booing and hissing him. He said all R./3 (my form) + IVd had to go to P.S. I had not made a sound though. Well, Mr Paton came in and it was decided to send all to P.S. that night irrespective of Sports heats. But Haygarth with some others got off on the plea of not being there. I was there for part of it but did not make a sound. So Green and I went to see Mr Paton + we got off. I ran in the 220 yards + I was 3rd for about 200 yards but was just beaten + came in 4th. There was a Glee practice at 6:30 + I caught the 8:45 train home.
